One Tree Planted
We plant trees where they're needed the most. At the moment, we are planting for forest fires recovery. Impact: The current focus is on the West coast of North America, where fires are raging in California, Oregon, and Washington state. Over 3 million acres have already burned in California during the 2020 fire season, and 900,00 acres in Oregon. Some plantings this year are happening in areas damaged by fires in previous years. British Columbia is also a site of restoration activity this year after 2017's devastating wildfire season that burned over 1 million acres. This will result in the need for hundreds of millions trees. Let's get to work! 🌲
